2x20 pin zif cables, 21 pin zif cable and 20 pin zif connector. model 1 mod chip.

You might be able to get the ribbon cables and ZIF connectors from Mouser or Digi-Key, have you tried looking there?

honestly i don't even know what im looking for on those sites. the zif connector is like a cap that holds the zif cable in place, not the actual connector on the board.

That kind of ribbon cable is called a Flat Flex Cable.
