I thought it was invalidated for nominating a game that pretty much had to be emulated if you don't have an XBOX360 or PS3.

I think he was on about Golden Axe Warrior. It isn't that expensive over here at least - it's half the price of both of Ikaruga and a quarter of DoDonPachi, and we're definitely playing one of those.

I can come to agreement with your list -- the only thing I'd do differnetly is make the RPG poll slightly differnet. Certainly Baldurs was mentioned many times in the thread, but was Ys 1 the standout for JRPG?

I voted Ys, because I played this. I didn't know what the poll was for until after I voted. But Ys is available for nearly every system out there. I quite like the PSP version. Should start playing through Ys II sometime but whatever.
