The only way to deactivate the ray beam and fight back the vampire alien threat is with a complicated series of foot patterns on the device's control board that looks remarkably like a DDR pad. We will all praise this man for saving our lives and buy him a mountain of stuffed animals.

Limited collection...
SNES
PS1
PS2
XBox 360
Nintendo DS
Had more, but my girlfriend and I had to move to separate apartments for a while, and we split the consoles. She kept the Wii, Gamecube, and Genesis. We sold our XBox a couple of years ago. Similar happened between me and my brother when I went to college, so he still has the NES and N64.

All US systems
NES - the original
SNES - the smaller one
GameCube - silver
Genesis - model 2
Sega CD - model 2
Saturn - oval buttons
Dreamcast - whitey(2 of 'em)
PS2 - black slim
Sold my PS1, Master System and Gamboy somewhere along the way. I kinda miss the master system, but ohh well. I picked it up for $5 and sold it for $35. Trying very hard to win a Turbo-Duo at a decent price right now. I'd love to get a NeoGeo MVS cab too, but not until I get a bigger house.

I guess I should say my collection has shrunk significantly. All my stuff is back in Florida, so technically I only have a Wii and Xbox360 now... my entire Sega collection is packed in boxes in my garage back in West Palm...
with fire breathing, 3 headed, pitbulls guarding it. So don't get any ideas.

I currently own the following consoles:
boxed Mega Drive - MK 1 version
PS3
unboxed SNES
boxed Gamecube
boxed N64
boxed original Gameboy
boxed Gameboy Colour
boxed DS Lite
I have loads of games for all the above consoles, I probably have the most N64 games.
I'm currently trying to put together a Metal Gear Solid collection. I have the following MGS stuff:
EU MGS premium package
sealed MGS 3 NTSC version
sealed MGS 2 EU version
boxed EU MGS for Gameboy Colour
I'm considering this. Would make a great addition to my collection.

In the order in which I purchased/received them:
NES
Gameboy (original)
Genesis
GB Color
PS2
GBA
Xbox
N64
Dreamcast
Wii
SNES
DS Lite
The flood of systems after the Xbox purchase was a magical year where I had a job, but didn't have any fiscal responsibilities yet. I still plan on getting a Saturn for fun and a Gamecube for completion of that generation, but college is keeping me down.
As far as games, my PS2 collection far outstrips that of any other console. That was the system where I became self-aware of gaming. Instead of just being something my parents purchased for me and my siblings for Christmas, I actually cared enough about gaming at that point to squirrel away my pocket change in middle school to buy a system when it was still relatively new.
Such memories...
