I quit. Let me know when it's Raw again and not The Triple H Show.
There's a lot of good compilation DVDs out there that are enjoyable. Shawn/Brett one drops in a couple weeks too. Some rare footage on there.
Ditto. I'm really stoked for that one. I'd love to collect the Wrestlemania's sometime too, I'm sure those would be fun to marathon someday.

@Gamerforlife: I completely agree man, and that segment was what, 30-40 minutes? One of my friends quoted the worst line from the thing, that Triple H "could have a better match with this broom than most of the talent". Then his baby talk impression just topped it off.

I was very disappointed in CM Punk during the segment as well. If that was like Stone Cold, he would have stunned every single person in the damn ring. Granted, chances are Punk hates this as much as us, but he definitely seemed very forced there and was just kind of playing along with the business instead of doing his thing.

Overall I definitely hated that segment as much as you did. Baby face boss man in the ring buries the roster and gets louder pops than everyone, okay, let's bring out the biggest current faces and then boost Triple H's moral even more. That's all I see in that segment, they just lifted up Triple H's ego even more and put him above themselves.
Yeah, Punk seems so watered down. He's not the same guy he was around Money in the Bank. He's completely lost his edge and I wouldn't be shocked if he's hating all this too. Punk's tapped into the net fanbase, so he knows what's crap as well as we do. He's the guy who should have said,

"Wow, Hunter. That's a new personal best for you isn't it? You just buried the entire roster. Now I won't argue that that broom has more moves than Kali, but I'm pretty sure most of those guys can wrestle more than two matches a year without their quads giving out. Oops, there I go dropping those pipe bombs again. Sorry Hunter, I'm supposed to come out here and play the good babyface and kiss your ass like John Boy over there right? Guess that's what I get for leaving the script behind. Maybe I should come down the ramp and try again"

That's the Punk I miss right now

Wrestling video game related news:

Brock Lesnar is in the new WWE '12 game.

Interviewer: There are so many guys in the WWE right now that you never had a chance to wrestle. If you could come back and wrestle any guy at Wrestlemania who you've never previously had a match with, who would it be?

Brock Lesnar: Ironically it's probably the guy that walked out on me. The guy that took his ball and went home. A guy that I was supposed to face and I think that he was just plain downright scared to get in the ring with me because he was one of those guys that was on top and saw a huge threat in Brock Lesnar at the time. That's "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. I worked with everybody and anybody that was anybody there and if I came back, I think the guy that I would come back to fight is "Stone Cold" Steve Austin
here comes the pain!

We haven't even mentioned what they did to Jim Ross on Raw

I actually feel like tuning into TNA again. I hear the Roode push has been good and I've always liked Beer Money. I heard Vince Russo isn't in charge anymore and that recent TNA episodes have been a little bit better. That's how awful Raw was, they're pushing me back to TNA

On the other hand, they did resign Hogan and Bischof :(

Oh crap, I forgot Ring of Honor can be watched online now. I have to check that out!

Has Raw just become the worst wrestling show?

Ah, about the JR thing...

First off I heard that was his hometown, probably why he got the awesome entrance coming back and all. And his wife was supposedly in attendance. But here's the kicker, I forget where my friend gets his info but yeah this is surely legit I'm sure:
"The firing of Jim Ross by John Laurinaitis on last night's RAW Supershow was not in the final script and most people backstage had no idea that it was going to happen.

It's also believed Ross didn't know about the angle either. It was noted that JR's wife could be seen at ringside, looking excited as he entered the ring for the segment.

Ross told a fan on Twitter today that it was embarrassing for his wife and that they both were "blindsided."

Regarding last night's show, it's said that what ended up airing was almost nowhere near what was originally wrote. Everything on last night's show was re-written more than once."
And that's exactly what the last several weeks of Raw have felt like. Them writing this stuff week to week with no clue where they're going with this stuff.

And about Laurinaitis, I'm totally cool with what they're doing with him. He's that asshole boss that Triple H should be. But instead, it's like on top of the roster, they're even using this angle with Laurinaitis to put Triple H over even more. The hole just gets deeper and deeper. They should have had Triple H and Laurinaitis team up from the start or something for Triple H to resume Vince's "asshole boss" role which was always exciting, even if you hated Vince, he did his role well and didn't BURY the roster or anything.

Yeah, I hear Vince has had a vendetta against Ross for no apparent reason. Real great example of that no bullying campaign Vince is

It's not unlike Vince to embarrass people in their hometowns either

Yeah, I would have been fine with Hunter and Laurinaitis as heels right from the get go. I have no idea why they didn't go that route. CM Punk against a heel COO in Triple H would have been gold and it would have been Austin/Vince for a new generation if done right. Triple H is always at his best as a heel

Hell, they could have had Hunter, Nash, Steph and Laurinitis ALL against Punk. Steph and Laurinitis hating Punk because he got rid of Vince, Nash as their enforcer with Hunter joining in on the beatdowns with his sledgehammer. You have them represent the status quo while Punk wants change. It could have been NWO meets McMahon/Helmsley era. There are so many ways they could have gone with that.

Eventually, you get some other guys helping Punk. Maybe finally give Morrison a decent push by putting him with Punk and letting Punk be his mouthpiece as Hunter and co. send their best heels against Punk and Morrison. Maybe Punk eventually needs outside help from some Ring of Honor guys or a returning Chris Jericho. Maybe you TURN CENA HEEL and have him be Hunter's lapdog until the Rock comes back to help Punk even though Punk doesn't like him and have a reluctant alliance between them. A heel Hunter, Steph, Nash, Laurinitis AND a heel Cena, with Del Rio, Miz and Truth doing their bidding too. That's money right there just waiting to be made. That's how you build up some new faces to fight this regime with Punk as their figurehead and Rock getting involved to build up his rivalry with Cena. Anything would have been better than what they actually did

It just amazes me how stupidly they've handled Punk's character.

I agree, they had a great thing with CM Punk but they took a wrong turn and now the character is just watered down. As for the rest of the happenings on RAW, everything is becoming so damn predictable. JR's gone, so there goes one of my favorite commentators. Kelly Kelly needs to be decommissioned (Eve kicked ass though). Aside from the drawn out retarded chuckling Rhodes did an awesome job last night and it was pretty hype seeing Orton land his finisher on Henry.

But overall, I don't really want to watch RAW with Laurinaitis as the GM. Sure, he's underhanded, smug an' everything else you could ask for in a typical heel, but to me he's just plain boring. An' while RAW hosts four of my fav wrestlers, I'm actually looking forward more to Smackdown now than RAW. So yeah, in my case at least, they've successfully shifted my preference from RAW to Smackdown.

I still say it's all kayfabe. WWE's storylines this past year have gotten a little more reality-based. I think Laurenitus is just Vince's stooge, who do you think he's been talking to all these weeks. This whole "beef" between J.R. and Vince is part of it all.

You don't actually think the WWE would fire J.R. for real, on live TV, in his hometown like that, do you? Of course not, they made the worst possible scenario out of it because that makes for a good storyline.

You really don't know Vince McMahon do you?

Still, you could be right. It's not entirely impossible, but I TOTALLY believe that Vince could fire J.R. for real, on live TV, in his hometown. It's been pretty well documented too that Vince does NOT like Jim Ross, which I find funny since Ross is ten times smarter than Vince and knows more about the business than he ever will
