sorry, I think my days of getting excited about any comic book movie are behind me unless I really like a director's previous work. Whedon's a decent writer and a competent TV director, but I don't have faith in his ability to translate that background to the kinds of visuals needed for a blockbuster like this.

I also find the characters other than Iron Man to be boring and predictable...

I think Joss might pull this off. This will prove that they should have kept him on the Wonder Woman movie. Serenity was awesome, so he can do a good movie. Hell, he can do just about anything. Great comic book run on Astonishing X-Men, great web series in Dr. Horrible, great tv shows in Dollhouse, Buffy, Angel, Firefly. The guy has talent in spades

Love the fact Cap and Stark are already arguing. You can definitely feel Whedon's influence. Ans although we see only a few frames of the Hulk, he looks pretty good in those frames. Looks like he might have a Keown look to him. I hope they deal with Loki within the first act though.

Every shot and take I've seen of the Avengers has been very bright. Even the scenes shot during the night still seem bright. That's just an observation.

Whatever goes on in this movie, all I can say is...Batman would be able to do it 100x better..BY HIMSELF! ^^
