Dunno how I feel about his buzz cut, but overall I like the design.
Iirc, it's Tim Drake in this one. Nightwing supposedly IS going to make some kind of appearance.

The Robin here is just a DLC bonus or something iirc.Xeogred wrote:More Nightwing and less Robin please.

Same. He looks good, but, sorry, I'm used to him with hair.AppleQueso wrote:Dunno how I feel about his buzz cut, but overall I like the design....
A Best Buy exclusive bonus for pre-orders no less.Xtincthed wrote:it's a bonus for pre-orders....
Quoted from the link:
"It's worth bearing in mind that Robin won't feature in the actual game's story - or at least nothing has been confirmed on that front - but will be confined to his own challenge rooms available with a pre-order from Best Buy."
So the creators liked him enough to give him a room or two, but not enough to feature him in the actual story.....I'm okay with that.

I doubt it'll stay a preorder bonus only. Guarantee we'll see it as paid DLC before long.

Looks like this is going to have a cool soundtrack, including comic book fans Coheed and Cambria

Bumping this to see if it spurs on some conversation, otherwise I'd just let it be. I don't think I mind this free roaming approach to Batman. It allows Gotham City to be a character in itself within the game. Plus, gliding around seems fun. The combat seems as good as before

Re: Batman: Arkham City(New Trailer 6/1/11)
Here are some early reviews
"Early reviews have been positive with the Australian Official PlayStation Magazine giving Arkham City a perfect score of 10/10 stating that "Batman: Arkham City is not only the best superhero game ever made, it’s one of the best games ever made full-stop. It takes the already superlative original and gloriously expands on it. It’s a deeper game, more complex, more inventive, more mature. It brings the caped crusader’s world to life better than any comic, movie or television show before it.".[68] Games Master gave Arkham City another high score of 97%, saying it's "one of the greatest games ever conceived."[69] German magazine Play3 gave Arkham City a score of 92%, calling it the best superhero game ever made."
I may totally regret it, but I pre-ordered the Collector's Edition. Yes, I'm buying into the hype. I know
