That room is very… white. I'd need to wear sunglasses in that room.

PS: The TV weighs 165lbs. I thought your number looked odd since my 32" is 160lbs, so I checked the specifications on yours.

Nope! It's definitely 145.5:

Also, thanks for the kind words on the game room! And yes, that's just laminate flooring. The crazy pattern does a great job of masking the awful job I did installing it. :D

There's a room tour a few posts back on my blog, if you're interested in seeing more. (Shameless plug!)

Well I'm looking for the 27" which is a manageable 95lbs according to Sony's specs. The issue is I can only find the 32" which weighs a whopping 175lbs (a good 20lbs MORE than I do).

I'm a runner, I don't do much weight training. I hope I can find a 27".

Edit: Is there any issues with the Sony KV-27FV310's? There's a nice one in my area and while its not progressive, it does have 2 component inputs.

I have everything stacked on those wire modular shelf things right next to my computer. I have I think 15 game consoles hooked up through my computer's line in ports. At any time I can just hit 'record' and record what I"m playing. This is handy for recording me and my friend's crappy review show. I do wish I played on an older CRT when playing older games, but I just don't have the room anymore.

I'd personally rate the FV310 as the overall ideal 4:3 Sony. Two component inputs. Two s-video inputs. Three composite inputs. Automatic 16:9 compression. A "high voltage" power supply to minimize blooming, although Sony may have referred to all of their power supplies by this name. I'd trade in my FS120 for a FV310 for sure.

Well, unfortunately since I am going to have to pick up this sucker myself I opted for a 24FS120. Not the best Sony made but A) I can lift it and B) Smaller is better for me, as I don't have a place for it in the first place. Going to go take a look at one later this afternoon.

The manual for your potential purchase: http://www.docs.sony.com/release/KV24FS120.pdf

I don't get why Sony puts Component on 480i screens. I wonder if there is any improvement over SVideo on a non HD Screen.

Well, I'd gather it's about the same difference of going from s-video to RGB. The more separation of signals the better as I understand it.

Yeah, it will still be an improvement even with an interlaced picture.
