Nah. I doubt Sony has the tech ready for the PS4 yet. I'd put my money on GT6 being a late-generation PS3 game

Gran Turismo 6, coming 2017 (maybe) on the PS4.

It took them five years to make GT5. Maybe even longer if you consider the gap between the release of 4 and the announcement that they were working on 5.

I'd expect much the same for 6. They'll work on it and work on it and work on it and finally, they'll decide to just push it to the next generation where they'll work on it some more to meet the new standards.

By that time, we'll have seen three more entries in the Forza series, which is good because its the better franchise anyway. (Ooh, that's gonna start a fight. :P  )

Ok, smartassery aside, that's how I see it. I'll be very, very surprised if GT6 actually comes out in the current generation.

I'll be getting this. It will give me an excuse to dust off my wheel. I've been tempted to mod it for clutch and shifter so if Forza 4 has support for it (forza 3 did so I don't see why Forza 4 wouldn't but stranger things have happened) then I'll be doing that. I won't buy it at launch as this type of game drops pretty quickly in price.

It looks so much better than GT5 does, I was disgusted at just how piss poor GT5 looked compared to even Forza 3. The vast majority of cars being simple upscales from GT4 with absolutely shocking textures. Completely unforgivable.

The one thing that does concern me is the handling, even on realistic some cars on the demo seem a little bit too tail happy. Maybe it's the cars on the demo but I hope there's some way of completely turning off all the driving aids in the full game.

I'll have to get the JDM version (I only have a J-360), but I want to finish GT5 first. I have to wait for the upcoming update so I can save mid race when doing endurance runs.

I'm a huge Forza fan. I kind of procrastinating preordering the limited edition. I tried to on Amazon a couple months ago, but it wasn't available... so, like a moron, I just waited for it to show up. It never did, so about 2 weeks ago I preordered it from Best Buy... then last Friday I got an email saying that my preorder was cancelled. Well crap... I preordered the limited edition from KMart and Target... hopefully one of those will work. Once one ships, I'll cancel the other (or if they both ship, I'll sell one on ebay). Sigh.. at least I'll have a couple more days to catch up on my backlog.

and it doesn't get any better with Skyward Sword and Uncharted 3 right around the corner either. So many titles to pick up, so little time and money. :(

Just started playing tonight after replaying Forza 3 a bit last night.

Thought it'd be fun to post pics of my Forza setup. Anyone go all out and buy stuff like a Wheel Stand Pro for this game? I want, but my laptop table will have to do for now:

Nice setup avrame.

I've never bought a wheel though and I probably never will, even for Forza.

I know some people consider it sacrilege to use the controller instead of a wheel, but I'm content with a controller and that's what I intend to stick with.

I also prefer a third person camera rather than cockpit view.

Burn the heretic!
