Voted for Ys because I've never given the series a shot, but I'll be happy trying out Balder's Gate. Couldn't get into whichever one I played on PS2 a few years ago, but I've been getting really into 3D action RPGs lately.

Yeah the PSP version looks almost nothing like that.

So a little clarification on the Baldur's Gate choice: are people going to be playing the first and/or Dark Alliance? Because I just started play BG:DA with the assumption that we weren't playing it and only going to play the first one.

I'll just play the one that I have easier/cheaper access to, I know my sister has Dark Alliance so I might just go with that.

The choice is for Baldur's Gate. None of the spinoffs or sequels. Original Baldurs Gate

Yall really dont like Western RPGs.

Maybe I am daft, but dont Ys and Golden Axe Warrior play similar?
