From Dusk Till Dawn is brilliant. It's literally like two different movies condensed into one. There's the dialogue-heavy crime-spree first half, and then the balls-out massacre second half. So awesome.

I really liked the duel movie feel, the two parts were like night and day, or dare I say Dusk and Dawn.

I've been planning to do that myself, but I'll be going the DVD route. May even throw in Freddy vs. Jason for the hell of it (I'll be skipping the remake though). It's been a while since I marathoned the whole series. I'm looking forward to it.

I loved it, creepy and beautifully shot, the worst part is that it's more or less true. Wes Craven adapted this perfectly.
Great movie. Just watched it not to long ago when I found the VHS at a thrift store. Fun Fact: My 7th Grade Biology teacher gave us a synopsis of the book one day in class and told us he knew/worked with the guy who wrote the book.

Maniac

I expected a cheese-fest and by the end I was feeling nauseous and numb. Great movie but it's pretty disturbing. The SFX work by Tom Savini is absolutely incredible too.
Tourist Trap

An above average slasher film, it's really fun to watch and it's very creepy. Also, 2 things:
1.- The tagline is absolutely retarded
2.- THIS WAS PG? WHAT THE FUCK?!
Was the guy a zombie?
Seriously though, that's awesome, I'd love to know more about what made him research something like that.

While not exactly a horror movie, I Saw The Devil is a fantastic revenge-thriller film. Starring both Min-sik Choi (Old Boy) and Byung-hun Lee (Lost Planet, XBOX 360), I Saw The Devil is easily one of my favorite movies this year.

I consider it a horror film, and yes, it's absolutely incredible. The whole thing was bleak, gritty and disturbing.

@Killerjuan: Maniac is amazing and truly scary. Tourist Trap I disagree on though. That's one I never understood why anyone really liked it. Just me I guess.

@Killerjuan: You're probably right about I Saw The Devil being horror, it definitely plays well into a couple genres. Definitely will be checking out Maniac now - going to see if it's on Netflix.

I'm into anything with creepy mannequins, and yes, Maniac is fucking terrifying, it's incredible how realistic the whole thing is. And by the way, it's still gritty and grimy as hell even on 1080p, the people at Blue Underground are geniuses.
I'm not surprised!
Yeah Maniac is amazing. That's one of those movies that just tenses me up.
