continuing from my post earlier

at the gamestops I got

P.N. 03 for gamecube $2.69

PS3 Afro Samurai $11.69
PSP Wipeout Pluse $5.39
Ulitmate Ghosts and Goblins $6.29
Death Jr (Limited edition?) $4.49

DS Devilish $3.59
Scurge Hive $2.69
Lost Magic $4.49
Commando Steel Disaster $3.59

WII- Cursed Mountain Limited Edition $11.69
Castle of Shikigami III $4.49

PS2 Raiden III $5.39
Super Bust a Move 2 $2.69
Ghosthunter $5.39
The Bouncer $2.69
Crimson Tears $2.69
Ratchet and Clank Going Commando $5.39

I am most pleased with my PS2 finds. The stores where I went had yellow bastards, but they also had complete in box games! The ones above are complete! Original box, manual and all! Not unlike my local stores, pretty much all games under six bucks are crap to me.

Damn, some really great finds there!

I have a softspot for The Bouncer. It was the first ps2 game I ever owned, back when there was a massive shortage of memory cards. I, of course, had no memory card.

Great finds! Check out your PS2 Raiden III duel stick mode. Control each ship individually with just one Dual Shock. :D

Mattel Battlestar Galactica Space Alert - Found in storage
YES! How many can claim of holding on to their first game system from their youth! I rediscovered my first portable, owned since 1978 buried in a storage box. Okay, its not a recent purchase, but nice to find the very first game system I owned. :D

Mattel Basketball Classic - $2.00 Thrift Store
I am starting to really buildup a collection, bought the two Mattel Football portables a while back. Basketball was covered with dirt, but still worked great!

2600 Xonox Double Ender Carts - Found in storage
Another buried set of wonders, amazing what one rediscovers going thru all the boxes in the washroom. I was destroying boxes looking for Space Alert and found these. The double ended carts are uncommon, I think FiftyDollarCurse single carts are more rare.

Got these from the thrift store this morning.

Spike's Peak and Robin Hood for Atari 2600 for $3.00 each. Normally more than I would be willing to pay for Atari games, but I had never heard of Xonox or seen cartridges in this shape before so curiosity got the better of me. They rank a 9 and 8 on AtariAge.com's rarity guide. No idea what they are worth, especially in the ragged condition they are in, but pretty cool to find anyway.
The Xonox Double Enders are different, though most were not very good games. The uniqueness is the cart itself with the odd shape and dual ended contacts.
Chuck Norris - Basic VCS style karate punching game.
Spikes Peak - Climb up an isometric view of a hill.
Ghost Manor - Shoot the ghosts in the graveyard, then in the manor.
Artillery Duel - The crown jewel! For a VCS game its pretty good, a two player game. Set the angle and amount of powder to hit the enemy gun. The wind speed and direction changes, throwing off your calculations. I have played Xonox Artillery Duel on the Commodore 64 with better graphics and the 2600 holds its own by comparison. Decent graphics and controls considering the limitations of the Atari VCS. 8)

Okay now where is my C64 Floppy Disc!

On my quest to have all 14 original Famicom "Pulse Line" carts, I managed to nab 9 of them at a price I could not refuse. Saved me $70 had I bought them separately on eBay.

If go and pick up the Intellivision games (with *aged boxes) that I saw at FYE Games what do you guys suppose they'd sell for around here?

Keep a lookout for the following:
  • Advanced Dungeons & Dragons: Treasure of Tarmin
    Thunder Castle
    Tower of Doom
    Advanced Dungeons & Dragons
    Utopia (maybe)
These are some of the more expensive ones last time I checked.
If you come across Thunder Castle or AD&D ToT (or a game called Shark! Shark!) shoot me a pm.

I'm looking for boxed copies in decent shape with instructions & preferably some overlays.
Also, I might take Thunder Castle cart only if you see one and are willing to work out a deal.

/end plug for want list.

oh opn.

If you see an Intv game called Congo Bongo... snatch that sucker up! It's probably one of the rarest Intv cartridge out there.
