As much as I like to read everyone's theories...

Vince Gilligan explains it all:

I'd also love to hear everyone's thoughts on how feasible Gus walking out of the room like that would be.

Well I'm no doctor, but I thought that might be stretching reality a little bit, yes. Thinking harder about it though, it DOES make good TV. However, it might have been more believable if he kinda just stumbled out of the room and did NOT fix his tie before dropping down. From the same camera angles, if he just stumbled out, you would still be thinking "How the HELL did he survive that? Oh, but he's hurt a little". So at least the scene would create the same effect. The way it happened though, when I saw Gus walk out in the fashion that he did, I thought "No fucking way, he's like the Terminator or something!"

That link you posted is a good read. Definitely confirms a lot of our suspicions. No mention of Ted though.

It was complete bullshit, even if he survived the blast for even a few seconds, he was not walking at any rate. Was awesome to watch though.

That's what I figured. It just bothers me that I can't remember anything else in the whole series that didn't seem feasible.

Gus's walk is probably the least feasible thing that's happened in this show. But it was fucking awesome, and therefore worth it.

The second least feasible thing to happen is Huell taking the ricin cigarette, which is not quite as awesome. Of course it's still possible that gus knew of the cigarette, and had it taken.

Not if you read the interview that Racket linked.
