The Duo looks good (don't get me wrong!) but the Core Grafx is just more appealing right now. My experience with old disc drives hasn't been good and that's one of the reasons I'm hesitant to get into the CD games.

Breetai wrote:GET A DUO (or Super CD-ROM2 if you buy that Core Grafx from S1mplehumar. They are probably $100-150 plus shipping from Japan. Go by sea and save money!). Seriously.
This is what I may do. Yes, in the long run it'll cost me more money! But I'll be sufficiently satisfied by what HuCards have to offer for a while.

And maybe later on down the road I can maybe get a forum member to sell me a working CD-Rom attachment (if, of course, there are any forum members living in Japan).

and on a random note. To quote a game over screen from Download:
Shit. Is not this a great beginning.

Nope. I think the only J console I purchased from you was a loose V-Saturn.

This is the one that blew me away when I first saw it:

If Hudson released Download unedited, that would have been a bigger system seller than if SFII' came out on the TG.

That's the one that initially caught my attention.

That one made me determine that Download is an awesome game.

Think it would make a cool shirt? :P

How did "all your base are belong to us" become a bit of an internet phenomenon, but this one go basically unnoticed outside of PCE and shmup fans?
