It always amazes me that there aren't good plans to DIY your own out there. Seems like an AV selector would be a thousand times simpler than the video converters/flash devices/etc that we see homebrew hardware guys make all the time.

Yeah... I use the Pelican HD System Selector Pro boxes for my HD systems and the old Pelican ones for my S-video ones... but they are discontinued. I'd go for those Monoprice ones if I needed new ones. Monoprice has never done me wrong with my cable needs before.
