This is like the 6th. time I've seen this and it's still scary as hell. It's a J-Horror/mockumentary about a paranormal investigator that's researching a series of disturbing events caused by a demon called Kagutaba. It's pure, uncut nightmare fuel and it's definetely worth watching.
This movie is just awesome, I can't believe I waited as long as I did to watch it. The action is kickass, the horror elements are very stylish and well done, and the gags are hilarious. The second half has a great over the top vibe going the whole time. When I think about it, this movie is almost like Splatterhouse meets Castlevania. Even though the transition between the two parts is a little disjointed, it really didn't bother me at all. Both parts of the movie are great in their own right, despite how noticeably different they are. overall a really fun and crazy movie with awesome horror elements.
I don't want to spoil much of the plot but it's basically the story of a promiscuous woman named Erica which haves a best friend called Nate which is the only person that wants company instead of sex from her that turns into horror when she dissapears after being kidnapped by one of her one night stands and his friends. I won't say more because it's a truly superb indie horror film.
I've never seen this, but I've been considering buying a copy. I think I'll go for it now.
I don't think you'll be disappointed, it's a really enjoyable movie. Some critics complain about the plot not developing for the second half of the movie, but it honestly didn't bother me at all.
