Can't say it was a pleasant experience, wouldn't buy again.
Ouch.
Likewise, it would be dandy for all to see the goofy crap I had to respond to. I pretty much covered it when I gave seanami a +1 a few pages back. I'm confident in saying that I'm always cool to anyone I'm doing business with and the only two negative experiences involved customers with strange, well, customs. I took extra trips to the PO and repackaged a Master System to try and save this guy money and yet it wasn't pleasant. Whatever.
Edit: I just looked through the messages and I have no idea where this notion of "unpleasant" comes from. I take pride in being friendly, fair, and accomodating... so naturally I'm going to get a bit defensive when someone leaves a comment such as Seanami has done. And hopefully my 20something other positive and successful sales experiences are worth more around here than the word of one person. And at that, a person who seemed to feel obligated to free merchandise because the shipping cost to send a Master System from CT to GA was 10.12, that's crazy.
*I'm kind of offended by this
I think it is important for the community to take note of this. I had a positive experience w/seanami, positive in that he paid for the games. However, I did get an abrupt "...are these carts broken." pm the day they arrived, when I explained what I thought it was (he was new to the system he was using) he got the games working just fine. I don't know that he is a bad buyer / trader, but polite communication is warranted...until it isn't.
I think I am like you optmus, if we've done something wrong as sellers/traders, maybe a game got damaged in shipping, maybe we sent the wrong game, etc, sometimes things happen. The old "you'll catch more flies w/honey than you do w/vinegar" logic applies. Politely PM (privately) and describe the problem. It is tough to get intent across in a PM, so sometimes you may want to go overboard w/the politeness, particularly if it is through no fault of the seller. I think the vast majority of us in the b/s/t on racket are more than happy to fix a problem, it is all in the way it is brought to our attention. I recently had a minor issue, the guy messaged politely, I sent him $5 to cover the concern, and no hard feelings.
I don't think your rep is damaged in anyway optmus, I know i've had to seemless transactions with you. Good luck and keep on truckin'.
