Should I update to Firefox 7?

Post by Redifer »

Or should I wait until next week for Firefox 8 or the week after for Firefox 9?

I uninstalled 4 soon after I installed it. However, I'm mostly satisfied with 7. I skipped 5 and 6 entirely. Their release schedule is, though, really ridiculous.

I gave up on Firefox. They've driven the browser to the ground, completely lost sight of what made it good to begin with. So I switched to Chrome and I'm fine with it so far.

I haven't even been keeping up. Firefox 4 came out and I couldn't believe how bad it was. Then 5 came out and I didn't bother. I knew 6 was announced but didn't even know it was released. Can't believe they're already at 7 now.

'Course, they're at like Thunderbird 23 or something, so I'm not sure what Mozilla is thinking anymore.

It's something along the lines of "chrome" or "google."

I've been trying it out today, updating from 3.6
It's nice enough for me right now, although I don't see any phenomenal improvements (maybe a tad faster?, I don't know).

Anyways, Firefoxwith "Noscript" are my dream team for internet surfing. I'm sure other browsers have something similar to block ads and such, but why mess with what's working for me.

They're doing rapid fire releases like Chrome. It'll be over, uh, 9000 in no time.

It's true. There's no reload button, no stop button, no statusbar. It's hardly recognizable as a browser. Definitely not usable as a browser.
