what type of television do you play your classic consoles on

The Sony WEGA series are pretty good, there are also HD 4:3 versions. Look for the KV HS series, Retro and Current consoles all look great, reviewed the KV-32HS500 at my CRT vs LCD Signature link.

Exactly what I'm looking for! Know of any comparable TVs that also have VGA input for the Dreamcast?...or a VGA to component converter that works for it. Otherwise this is perfect... thanks!

I don't know of any WEGA HD CRT with a VGA input. Right now my Dreamcast uses SVideo on the WEGA and VGA on a CRT Computer Monitor. I have tried a VGA to HDMI convertor on the WEGA, but no luck.

I am hoping going from VGA to Component on a HD CRT might work, anyone try this?

I play on my flatscreen 32" 1080i CRT. I never really minded how they looked on my 57" DLP screen though.

I currently use a 32" LCD for my retro consoles all using S-video/component or VGA, 50" Samsung 1080p LED DLP HDTV for current gen systems (Xbox 360, PS3). I plan on upgrading to a new 55" Samsung LED 240Hz 3D HDTV by November. Due to space limitations I now use my 42" 1080P Panel, I have upgraded every cable I can (To at least S-Video) and those that are not I plan to in the not too distant future.

I hope you're using something other than the built in scaler.

according to wiki, your Sony KV-32HS20 supports Hi-Scan with HDMI/DVI. Awesomeness!
