Hey guys,
I was at my local Value Village the other day and saw a Sega CD game that intrigued me. Its some kind of encyclopedia. I think it said Compton's Encyclopedia. I wasnt sure if it was rare or worth picking up so I hid it in the back if I want to go back for it. Just wanted peoples opinions on here to see if its worth a few bucks. The only one I saw sold on Ebay wasnt for very much, but it was the only that has sold recently so I have nothing to compare it to. Thanks guys.
Is this game worth picking up?

Please ignore this thread. I did a bit of snooping around on my own and came up with the answer. Sorry to waste space.

"It's just like a regular encyclopedia, but with horrible load times, cd quality sound and great 16-bit cut scenes!"

yeah that thing came out on a lot of CD systems back when CD systems first hit the scene.
I own copies on SegaCD, VIS, 3DO, and CD-i... it also came out on several others as well... I think the amiga, PC, and TurboDuo all got ports as well. Don't quote me on those three though.
Oh man, the VIS... I still have yet to meat anyone who seen/played one, let alone owned one. I actually had a lot of fun with it though, came standard with wireless controllers, tons of games, including some really messed up comic adventure games (you know those games that play like Snatcher). I can't remember the name though... they have sat in a box for like the last decade and are back in Florida. I wonder if they ported them to anything else. It also had a really fun version of Links Golf on it.
