Yeah, I give credit to sevin where it is due, but considering I played as a regular team and he played as all-stars, that was hardly an even match. Besides, he's been playing the disc-based game for a while whereas I quickly abandoned it...so hardly a fair fight! (/sour grapes)

And I still contend I would beat him in the orginal Jam. I was king of that game, I tell you, king!

@retrosportsgamer - you will get your rematch. :)

@dsheinem - i consider a team of Amere Stoudamire and Carmelo Anthony an All-star team, but like in real life both are just "offensive" players. you did almost catch up when Melo was shooting all those threes during the second half. but defense wins!

in time we all will improved as long as we keep at it and it will be a toe to toe showdown at both ends. can't wait. :)

The online play of this new NBA Jam game may be great but the single player game sucks.

Do you mean the AI/difficulty or the single player modes? I kind of like the road trip as it has quick matches for medals and points. Really works for ADD gamers. I love unlocking stuff and since I had the disc-based game for the 360, I didn't get $15,000 up front. I'm working through to 100% on that piece of the game.

i don't think i've seen a list for all the new players added to the roster. even their official forum doesn't have any info about it, but it might get updated on this link: http://www.nba-live.com/nbalivewiki/ind ... re_Edition
* Rosters: NBA JAM: On Fire Edition will contain over 125 current NBA superstars, nearly 50 NBA legends, 27 mascots and a host of secret teams! Check back for more info to come!
that's all we know so far..

i don't think he is. i don't see him on the Utah Jazz or Atlanta Hawks legends roster. he definitely deserve to be on this game since he is one of the first showman of the NBA. i got some of my game flashes from him. :P
