You converted it to an iso? And now you have to use a boot disc, yes? A lot of us don't consider that a "working" method. It's a half-assed method. People use formats like CDI and MDF because it allows for the selfboot session data to be stored along with the game data. The ISO format can't retain the selfboot session. An ISO is just a single "track" from a disc.lost_within wrote:Thanks for the info but i did the around my elbow jump thru a hoop idea lol. MagicISO converted MDF to ISO, Boot disk, and it worked. I dont understand why people dont just use a dif format. Seriously jeezlol atleast it works!

Just feed DJ the smaller file. I forget which is the smaller file. Just look at the filesizes of the two. Think of the smaller file as a table of contents. It references the larger file with all the right specs, so DJ doesn't have to do any guesswork.lost_within wrote:ah ok so JG would burn both files or just the MDF and its self booting then?

I dunno if the trial lets you burn or not. You may need to get a cracked version from here. Burn using the "Playstation" profile.
I haven't burned a DC game in a long time. I have a collection of at least 120 burns, and 50 something retail discs. I'm kinda outdated on the burning software that's involved. I know Racketboy prefers the modern Nero. He's said good things about that.
