I was not ready for that final boss. I used my last continue on that sucker.

It's only October 4th and I gotta last this whole month somehow. I guess I'll play Splatterhouse 2 then.

Considering I make maps on farcry2 on my downtime between games, and Im playing splatterhouse this month. Why dont I make a map dedicated to Splatterhouse!!There are machetes, and shotguns in FC2 so it can have some what of Splatterhouse Game type and most certainly reimagine and recreate a splatterhouse infused battleground. Now if I can get pass level 2 I can have more influence for my map (I havent attempted lately).Plus its october for FC community too so they might enjoy that.
If you can see the future while remembering the past, you may just have control of the present.

What is that ps2 game? And is that an official DC game or a homebrew?

the DC is homebrew. It's actually 3 homebrew games. They are beatemups built on the Beats of Rage engine. I've played the first so far. It's pretty good. It has co-op, different Rick's to choose from, and it's long.

Splatter Master was only released in JPN and Europe. It's part of the SIMPLE series. It is not officially part of the series, but it comes off as a bit of a 3D tribute to Wanpaku Graffiti.

Was Splatterhouse 3 the game where you kinda have a free-roaming environment? I seem to remember playing a SH game where you can walk through rooms, go through different doors, etc.

yes. 2 is very much like 1. The third one is very different, and free-roaming as you mentioned. It's one of my fav's of the series.
