yeah the music thing is-- well obviously I'd prefer the original music. BUT if I now have a chance to stream the show easily, I'm gonna be pleased regardless.

Ah, that's a huge let down. After seeing this thread, I was like, "Yeah, maybe I'll watch some of that." But after hearing about the music change, I probably wont.

I hear ya. The Wonder Years soundtrack had a lot to do with the show. They even changed the opener (although the pilot's music is still in tact).

THAT is a huge deal breaker for me. Seriously, when I think of The Wonder Years, I think of the opening with that damn song playing. Even if the rest of the music was intact, it might still be a deal breaker.

It pisses me off when right holders can't get along, and we the consumers end up paying the price. Who ever own the rights to the show doesn't wanna pay who ever owns the rights to the music, so we end up being the ones that get the shit end of the stick. Same reason why Malcolm in the Middle isn't on DVD. All because some douche bags don't wanna make X amount of DVD sales, they wanna make XXX amount on DVD sales.

I like the episode where he goes to great lengths to get his hands on a copy of this sex/anatomy text book. Unlike today where we have the internet, kids like me and him had to jump through hoops just to see some tits back in the day.

Oh wow. This show was one of the best I ever saw growing up. The way they ended the show still blows my mind away after all these years.

Or the episode when Kevin joins a band... Electric Shoes! Haha. Damn, the random episodes that are gonna pop into my head now over the next week because of this thread.
