I've been digging the new Wilco all week, the first two tracks are a really fucking strong start to the record, and the rest is very solid as well. I like that there are parts of it that sound markedly different from previous Wilco, which is a trait I always liked about the band but that kind of disappeared over their last 2-3 albums (which sounded more or less similar, if nonetheless excellent in their own right).

:lol: thanks. The guy at the store said that it was a mix of good and bad but I really dig it but I need repeated listens to it. But at the moment, I have this on rotation.

I went to see Amon Tobin live on Thursday and OH. MY. GOD.!!! It was immense. He was enclosed in this giant cubist structure with musically synced imagery projected onto it. Also, the sound system was loud and crystal clear. It sounded fantastic.
