Is there a working Splatter House rom out there?

I can't seem to find a working rom of this for MAME. The file always seems to be missing something, at least thats what MAME says. Also any MAME or DosBox recommendations for halloween would be appreciated. Thanks!

Works fine for me.

Make sure you have the newest version of MAME and make sure you've actually got the Splatterhouse (World) parent rom and not a clone.

I have the latest version of MAME and I did download the world version still it doesn't work. Might I ask where you downloaded yours from? I don't know if thats allowed on here or not. It could be my dial-up acceleration but I turned it off and downloaded and it still didn't work. I didn't restart my computer after turning it off, so maybe thats it.

Ok I got it working from that site, thanks apple. The only thing is that in the intro video with the two characters walking in the woods part of the background is brown. It looks like an upside down L on the left border of the picture. Is it supposed to be this way? I never played the original. This is the new world version of the rom and MAME says its all good in the startup menu so.....
