F.E.A.R. and F.3.A.R. haves some amazing AI, Halo Reach haves some great AI too and the aliens in Crysis 2 are fairly smart.

Re: Smart A.I.
While otherwise pretty stupid, I liked how in C&C Red Alert the enemy would gather forces in a corner and attack from there, so as to not attack frontally.

I have to agree with everyone saying Half Life 2 having very impressive AI, in fact the prison section is exactly what I thought of when I read the title.

I know not everyone agrees with me on this, but I really like the AI for Street Fighter II Turbo on the SNES. I always feel like it gives me a good and fair match on the highest difficulty level and I'm impressed at the game's ability to keep pace with my own skill and still challenge me even when I was at my best years ago.

What's the CHEAPEST AI you guys can think of? Again, I don't even know if Perfect Dark technically had any AI at all back then, but remember those Dark / Perfect Sims? Haha, oh god. I think no matter where they were on the map they were constantly looking at you, or would turn around and shoot you in the face instantly with perfect accuracy. Good times though. I can't believe I completed all the challenges solo again on the XBLA version, I think the higher framerate made it even tougher.

Most fighting games have ultra cheap AI, I could barely finish the story mode in SFIV. FarCry also haves some of the cheapest AI I've ever encountered.Xeogred wrote:What's the CHEAPEST AI you guys can think of? BTW Perfect Dark is harder with the 60 FPS framerate, even with the fact that the N64 version ran at 30-10 FPS you still had a decent ammount of auto-aim to compensate that, in the 360 version the auto-aim is much more subtle.
Re: Smart A.I.
I figured as much and now that you mention that about the auto-aim, I think I definitely noticed. I still can't believe I beat it on Perfect Agent again, felt much harder on the XBLA version for sure. Good times though.KillerJuan77 wrote:BTW Perfect Dark is harder with the 60 FPS framerate, even with the fact that the N64 version ran at 30-10 FPS you still had a decent ammount of auto-aim to compensate that, in the 360 version the auto-aim is much more subtle.
Sadly my game glitched so I didn't get that one achievement for unlocking gold stars for every gun in the shooting range, and then the last achievement... Crowning Glory, I didn't even want to bother. That is madness.

Re: Smart A.I.
Just to clarify, I did NOT get that achievement. Haha. It's basically another list of achievements in itself, for 5 points. These are just hilarious:KillerJuan77 wrote:5 points?
