Smile: Recca box/manual came and is awesome. Weather was pleasant and hopefully will be again tomorrow for a bike ride. Angus steak just finished in the broiler and I made fresh mashed potatoes.

Smile: It's October, and finally it is starting to feel like September. Grilled out and had a feast with friends last night only to watch our football team get spanked. Eh, was still fun. It's fairly difficult to not have fun when you're stuffing your face with mettwurst, potato salad, green salad, and ice cold brewskis.

Smile: I'm really excited about my life for the next couple years. Going through college learning Japanese and then hopefully getting to teach English there for a while!
Frown: I can see that slowly I'll be losing contact with best friend and other from back home. My best friend in particular will be moving further south to DC which means I may be seeing even less of him from now on. It's kind of sobering considering we've lived almost down the street from each other since elementary school.
I'm sure we'll keep in touch though.

Why do I suck ass so hard at learning other languages? Haha. I'll never forget what my mom said about some parent teacher conference from 8th grade, my Spanish teacher said "He needs to stay away from Spanish and anything else". I got a D there, yeah, middle school Spanish. I did okay in French, but still I can't remember anything now. And what do I go and stupidly do with some of my friends? Took Japanese one year in college a few years back, all my friends but one dropped it eventually... but I was hands down the worst at it. It was like stand up comedy time whenever I had to say stuff out loud in front of the glass.

hahaha, thanks dude. Learning languages are just easier and harder for some people I feel. Especially when it comes to Japanese it's like speaking an Alien language. I just have a natural talent at language I think, because I've always been good at English and I took Latin in highschool without too many problems. If you asked me to speak latin though I wouldn't be able to do it - my High school didn't exactly have the best language programs.

Good, now I dont feel that out of gaming...I got it the week it came out through work and well, my 360 for the past year has only really been used for Castle Crashers.Bikeage wrote:Halo Reach has been out for one year, not two. Sprinting with a shotgun, going nuts with grenades, and racking up some melee kills is an easy strategy for the occasional play.fastbilly1 wrote:Smile - discovered that I can get more maps for Halo Reach
Ticked - I discovered this two years after it came out and only because I need to do a crashcourse in it tonight because I am going to go and have my butt handed to me tomorrow when I help with a youth event. They can wipe the floor with me in Halo but they cant come close when we play any pc shooter...
