Ack, fvgazi, sorry to hear that, guys. I can't join you for a beer, Ack, but you know you got us, and we got you.
Also, it's gonna hurt. It's gonna hurt for a long time. But despite the feeling that the feeling might not end, it will, and there's definitely a light at the end of tunnel. Just takes time.

Ack, I wish I could do more than give you the generic "good luck," but really, I wish you the best of luck with your plans. Godspeed, my friend.

PMed you. You're in a tough spot, but you aren't alone there. Just respond if you feel the need.

Sorry to hear about that, Ack. Best of luck in Atlanta.
I've always found punching bags very therapeutic. That and breaking cheap colored glass with a sledge hammer. Of course, I have a friend who has use for those broken shards, so you might want to find an ulterior method.Hobie-wan wrote:... There's not a whole lot I can say other than to wish you the very best.
I can promise though, that we'll all still be here when you get back.

Hope things work out for you Ack, you have always been one of the nicest and most diplomatic people here. I know we all appreciate your contributions to the site as well
I think the putting yourself first line of thought is a turning point for a lot of people. You've got the right idea

Re: A short leave of absence
A change of scenery is the best thing in a situation like this, and you'll do great in Atlanta. When you get there, you should take up a new hobby. (I recommend rock climbing. Atlanta has some great gyms that are packed full of girls...you won't necessarily find a girlfriend there, but you will get laid...) But, whatever you do, avoid the 485 like the plague, grab some Korean food at Hae Won Dae, and do not miss the Claremont Lounge.
Best of luck.
Best of luck.
Re: A short leave of absence
Why did you pick Atlanta Georgia for the move, if you don't mind my asking?
