What was the last movie you've seen?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Spoilers
But there are so many WTF moments that you can't just say the ending doesn't work. The scene where De Niro moves suddenly to avoid a Frisbee is one and the scene where we supposedly see James Woods character run towards the back end of a garbage truck is another. Then the taillights of said garbage truck turns into a early model car from 20's with drunk youngsters on it. /Spoilers

To honestly say that the ending ruins it just seems ridiculous if you were watching the film at all.
The movie ain't fucking Brazil. Its a mobster epic. There isn't a need for some tacked on conspiracy. Anyway the film is still great. It just felt like the latter half when De Niro's character returns to town didn't do anything for the film. Should have ended at the cemetery.

There is no conspiracy, it's just facts. There are several WTF moments in the film.

I think the ending was just an opium dream that the main character was having.

Bronson

An biographical film about the 'most violent prisoner in Britain'. I could write something up since I really do like the film but I am feeling super lazy so I don't think I will but watch it if your looking for something different than regular Biographical films.

Weren't a lot of those due to editing issues though? At least that's what I've heard. I've seen it, but it's not my favorite of Leone's films.

Obviously there was a 6 hour version that cut down to the standard DVD running time of 3 hours and 49 minutes. But the examples I pointed weren't cut but just the way they were intended.

Drive (2011)

What a pretentious waste of film. Brian Eno music in all the inappropriate places, lifeless protagonist.. Couldn't finish it. At least I was warned beforehand http://www.ruthlessreviews.com/12184/drive/

This has nothing on Mark Dacascos' 1997 Drive.

My last one was Despicable Me, but I forgot to post about it! I really enjoyed it, it was heart-warming... Probably helps that I have two girls, it made me tear up.
