I'll contradict what I just said above (about the comparison thing) and just say, I absolutely hated the music in comparison to the NES versions. Most tracks were dramatically slower or faster. That and well the game sucked too I thought, the physics and controls weren't like the NES versions, varied enemy placement as well I believe.

*vomits*

Ohhhhhhh yeah. 8)

Wily Wars is something I should absolutely love... but it's an instant omega turn off whenever I try playing it, and I've tried it so much I give up. lol.
It's not all bad

Had they redone all the tracks properly I think it could've easily surpassed the NES soundtrack. Oh well.

Umm, there are 2 models of the SNES, and 3 models of the Genesis (not counting portables or CD add ons)

Just saying, no point in blowing things out of proportion to make your point

3 Actually. First big one with the cart lock and the socketed sound hardware. Second big one with no cart lock and an all in one mobo. Third being the mini. :P

I'm pretty sure there are more variations than that. I took a launch unit and one that was released 5 or 6 months later and tried to swap halves of the cases so I could have one completely un-yellowed SNES. Both units have cart-lock. One unit had the socketed sound for sure (the launch unit). I don't think the other one did.

There's 4 models of the official Sega Genesis, plus the SegaFirecore which is a licensed Sega product, and the portable Sega Nomad which is also a licensed Sega product. But it wasn't me that said there's a bunch of different variations of the Model 1, which was exactly what I was talking about when I said that.

Sounds really good when the Genesis is hooked up to my surround sound system.

Of course nothing compares to the Saturn version which is the best music wise, not sure about gameplay. has anyone here ever played the Saturn version?
