I can't wait to hear the news. I've shown Nathan's videos to about a dozen people and they all find him very entertaining. The Yelle video is my favorite, it cheers me up any time I watch it.

Um, this is the Nathan Barnatt Appreciation Thread. And if you haven't watched his TMNT review, you should as it's pure gold.

One of his best.

First of all this topic is crazy! I can't believe this is a real topic. I'm flattered and you guys are crazy.

Second, I think the "news" thats being talked about is that I got a little spot on Community. It's nothing big really. Just a couple of lines similar to that spot I had on Happy Endings recently. I'll be playing a "gay basketball player". So its cool but nothing huge. I guess I could take this time to catch those up to speed who dont know about the Comedy Central Keith project. First, someone in this thread mentioned that it aired late at night. That was another show that I was cast on. It wasn't my show. It was called this show will get you high and I just acted in it. My show never became a show. My brother and friend and I were paid to write a Keith script and it never went to pilot cause the head of CC said "he couldn't wrap his head around the video game world". Oh well. But since then we've had a meeting with Adult Swim for a new Keith show and it went really well. We're actually going back in today. It seems promising and they really like Keith over there so we'll see. But you never know what will happen.

Regardless of all that junk I am seriously blown away that this is even a topic here. I love RB and appreciate every view on my dumb videos. Thanks so much for watching over all the years and thanks for not banning me for spam.

And YES I really play video games. I have a full arcade of 13 cabinets and a solar powered battery pack for my gameboy!

And you...

However I don't really find much humor in the "ASSASSINS CREED" diving and the falling down in front of unsuspecting people kind of gets old, but that's just me. I'm not really into slapstick, at least when it is done ad nauseam. Still, I wish the guy success and if he makes it bug, then that is awesome!
should watch the new episodes on GameTrailers. I still do the SegaCD style original documentary episodes.

Holy crap dude, that's awesome! When do you debut in Community? If there's a known date or episode.

"Nothing big really" or not, it's great for your visibility, and I'm sure it wasn't an easy spot to grab. Good on you. Plus you're going to be on, oh, probably the best written sitcom on television right now.

Plus, I almost busted a gut when I read "gay basketball player" as I'm almost positive that's the characters name in the script. I'm sure you had to meet the desk clerk and say "Yeah, I'm here to audition for the role of 'Gay basketball Player'".

As always, keep up the good work and keep us updated.

Gay basketball player sounds awesome! Nathan, have you been practicing your ball handling and shooting for the role? How about your basketball skills?

Good luck!

A gay basketball player, huh? Oh, this outta be good...

With this thread, crazy stalker girls chasing him on the highway an' Kendra Corpier's article Nathan Barnatt: The Man of Men, you can almost sense the ego inflammation through your monitor, lol, but that's just not the case when it comes to Nathan. This guy is one of the most humble doods I've ever met!

I got to meet him in person for the first time at Meltdown Comics in El'Angeles and when I told him who I was he was like, "Oh! Hey man!!" an' gave me a big hug as if we were old buddies reuniting.

I've met my fair share of celebrities and performers, but Nathan has an intimate connection with his audience that very few performers have. Before an' after the Meltdown Comics show of the Apicarnage tour Keith chilled an' chatted with everyone. When you chat with him he gives you his undivided attention, an' when you have a massive crowd of people vying to get some one-on-one time with you that's no easy task.

Nathan Barnatt is the type of guy you want to see succeed!

An' it makes it even easier to root for 'im knowing he really, genuinely, is a gamer and a good guy! ... and not like the posers on G4...

Oh, an' the TMNT Talking Classics video is a definite must-see!!

I do when they are linked to (like you did with Streets of Rage of Romance), but I am not much of a fan of the Gametrailers site design. I dunno, I guess I'm just a Youtube fanboy.

That is bad management right there. If you don't understand a project, hire someone who does. It doesn't take much to see that the video game world is big, and the demographics overlap a lot with Comedy Central's demographic. Any braindead CEO should be able to appreciate that much from demographics research alone.

Hope Adult Swim does better!
