I can't help but snicker at that bit.

The entire game was preparation for the Fire Walk from Hell and Palace from Hell.
Hell, it took me two hours to amass an extra half-dozen lives to take on those things.
My scheduling skills have died of dysentery; I hope to visit at least on a monthly basis.
Still, don't forget to tip your waitress.

All the more reason why I'm still scared to go back and try to beat that one someday.

Hi,

Im completly new to this forum, (although have been a fan of the Racketboy site for quite some time), so HELLO! :D

Im a Zelda fan too but believe it or not got stuck years ago on Majoras Mask and stopped playing. Its the bit where you enter a hut and have to fight the flying, spinning witches, as I remember I could almost do it but not quite, it was really frustrating.

This fact alone has stopped me even loading up The Wind Waker or Twilight Princess, (I like to do things in order).

This post has made me realise that I have to finish Majora and get on with it..any ideas anyone ?

Welcome to the forums. I suggest consulting a walkthrough for tips how to battle those things. Then do it.

All of the bosses are beatable if you know the strategy and have ok reflexes. Personally, I haven't played Majora's Mask yet because I'm currently on Ocarina of Time.

Yeah I don't know how we can help you on boss battles, heh. Maybe youtube them to get some strategies or look up FAQ's like gtmtnbiker suggested.

The first LoZ is totally sweet when you pillage the overworld for rupee stashes and heart containers and walk into the first dungeon with the White Sword, Blue Ring, and like 6 (more?) hearts

...learned about that from the Zelda Dungeons video walkthrough (pretty sure..)

On the converse, it is sweet when you go into Death Mountain without a sword.

I have been playing Zelda II on my 3ds and I got to the Island Maze palace, beat the boss, jumped over the statue so I could go back in and get more experience points, and it completed out for me. So now I dont have the boots...Im going to start playing again once I get my NES to Wiimote adapter.

I cant beat Death Mountain. It kicks my ass since I forgot to get the lion key. To do a no sword you go get all the money you can, buy bombs, arrows, and blue candle, and you run out of money often. The hardest thing in the entire game no sword are the blue darknuts rooms. But if you get the wand early, it does the same amount of damage as the white sword and makes the game alot easier. This summer I was doing a no sword and a sword playthrough at the sametime. It would take me an hour or two per dungeon no sword, so playing it with a sword afterward was real easy.
