Marvel vs Street Fighter won't boot

Post by negativenihil »

Hello!

So i found a copy of Marvel vs Street Fighter on ebay, which i then purchased. However, the game will not boot on my saturn. I've got an action replay 4in1 (with the 4meg memory add-on) so it *should* boot... but alas it seems to throw up a warning about the 4meg memory add-on...

Help? Anyone? :)

I spent $40+ on this game and i'm really dying to fire it up...

is it scratched?

Is the game scratched (what does the back of the disk look like)? Is it from japan or europe? what error message do you get? Did you try it without the ram cartridge? Is your console modded?

it's a legit japanese disc, no scratches whatsoever.
my saturn is modded.

The error message is in japanese, the only part i can make out is "4MB". Without my action replay 4in1 this game will not boot unless i rip it and re-region the iso. The game *requires* the 4meg cart to play so i dont see it working without the ram cart.

Change the region on the ISO, burn, and then use a RAM cart (which I sell, BTW)

That mod requires a "Plus" meaning you already must have the RAM included.
It just "patches" the somewhat buggy AR's to be able to play certain games like Vampire Hunter.

That warning means that the game isnt recognizing your 4 in 1's RAM. Do what racket says, either get his RAM cart or try to find out what's wrong with your 4 in 1. Good luck!
