Finally found something today. Man it takes me a long time to pick something out.

I got two BESTAs from IKEA. They are the perfect height, width, and depth for me. I picked up 3 extra shelves per unit. It's not a cheap solution, but I've been very happy with their furniture in the past.

This thread has been going on for almost a year! It shouldn't take a year for someone to give the answer of "CD/DVD shelves". They are the ideal size for both NES and SNES loose games.
Selling half my NES/SNES/PS1 collection (ending Dec 1):

It didn't. I posted exactly that the day this thread was created. It's one of the first few posts in this thread!

Anyways, not all CD/DVD shelves will work. The one I got from Wal Mart (picture linked in my first post) worked great for NES carts as well as some other various games. Though I recently (pic posted on page 4) got another one for my SNES games, and it didn't work out too well. The spacings were all off. I ended up having to make my own spacing with finishing nails.

The Besta works well, and there's also the Benno CD/DVD tower. I use UGCs for my games so they fit very well into DVD shelving.

I actually keep my SNES games in three wooden wine boxes. If I recall correctly, each one will hold about 80 games without much wasted space.

It is not ideal, but our house - a craftsman-era bungalow - does not have much extra space; so, it will have to do until I have a place where I can keep them out.
