really? The only winamp plug-ins I've found are Windows 9x only and only play .gym files.
I thought you might have something to say about this though.

Not sure of how to directly convert a '.gym' file, but if you have the game that the audio is from, and some kinda MIDI interface, you should be able to connect the genesis and interface with a MIDI cable and record the audio sequence that way, through the sound options.lordofduct wrote:Speaking of game music
who knows of a good way to convert .gym (genesis/mega drive pcm audio logs) to another sound format like .wav or .mp3? And anyone who says to record it through analog will get a boot to the face.

I guess converting the signal to midi will work, but it depends on what MIDI plug-in's (or sound module) you have to what the actual sound will be when played back. I have used this program called Switch (free version available here) for alot of audio conversion and I've been really happy with the results. I don't know if it supports .gym...lordofduct wrote:::BIG FREAKIN' BOOT TO THE FACE::RemyC wrote:Not sure of how to directly convert a '.gym' file, but if you have the game that the audio is from, and some kinda MIDI interface, you should be able to connect the genesis and interface with a MIDI cable and record the audio sequence that way, through the sound options.lordofduct wrote:Speaking of game music
