Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
So sick, a Amiga Cd32! Nice one!!!Hateshinai wrote:I just came back from a 3 hour round trip to 3 flea markets. One was hopeless but the other two netted me the following:
Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and Daxter for PSP. Both complete and in perfect condition. 3 and 6 Euros respectively.
A cool looking and surprisingly heavy Famiclone (with damaged box) missing the power supply. 5 Euros. Any ideas what power supply I need?
Atari 7800 joystick for 1 euro. Needs cleaning.
Playstation (loose) for 5 euro. If it doesn't work I'll swap the case with a badly scratched working one I have.
Amiga CD32 with Mission Impossible 2025 and power supply. Seems to be working fine. Powers up, loads game on first try, playable with Genesis pad. How much did it cost me? A whole 5 Euros.![]()

Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
Here is what I got today:
Lunar: The Silver Star Sega CD disc only- $15
Sega Smash Pack Dreamcast disc only - $5
Heart of the Alien Sega CD disc only- $10
Dragon's Lair disc and case but no manual- $5
Dungeon Master 2 Legend of Skullkeep disc only- $10
Mega Man 7 snes cart only- $15
Playstation 1 Asciiware Joystick Controller Arcade Turbo- $5
FF7 greatest Hits case and manual in good condition- $2
Old Dirty (Bastard) version of a 3do. 3 controllers and A/V and power cords. Haven't tried it out yet. They said it works but it looks like shit. I don't have any games to do much with it. Paid $25 for it.
I would say today was ok. I'm sure I overpaid but that's what happens when you love to go hunting but there isn't much of good deals around here. I don't mind mostly.
Also on further review I got an amazing deal on Mega Man 7 snes. Play N Trade you amaze me sometimes.

Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
^great deal on Mega man.
At the flea market I picked up:
a Dreamcast plus all connections,
4 controllers,
vmu,
system box
and NFL 2K1 = $15
The box isn't mint or anything, but still a pretty good deal.
and then a random SNES game:
Bazooka Blitzkrieg = $4 (a very rare title hopefully it will go up in value)

Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
Friday I didn't make it to the Portland Retro Gaming Expo, so I decided to make a stop in a few game stores I was going to visit on the way back found a few decent items:
Micro Machines (nes)
Power Blade (nes)
Laser Invasion (nes)
Ikari Warriors 2 (nes)
Viewtiful Joe (GC)
Saturday Night Slam Masters (SNES)
Yoshi's Cookie (SNES)
Mega Man Collection (PS2)
Gradius V (PS2)
Paid about $4-5 a piece on these games.
Found a guy today who was selling a NES lot but will to separate games out for about $5 a piece:
Mega Man
Mega Man 2
Spelunker
Vindicators
Impossible Mission II (Epyx S.E.I. version)
Final Fantasy (w/dungeon map)
Fire N' Ice
Paid $30 for the group.

Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
Hit up all my normal spots this weekend and came up almost empty handed.
First find was a nice clean complete PS1 with 2 controllers (I literally see 2-3 of these every goodwill I hit up, in varying conditions and state of completeness) $10 BONUS: had a crash bandicoot 2 disc inside after i got all the tape off!
My sweetest finds of the weekend happens to not be video game related (like my last post with the driving toy)
First up is this SWEET Ninja Turtles bin of sorts. I am unsure what this actually was for but I had to have it, and for 2.99 I couldnt resist!

Then my Fiance was stoked to find this gem among the shelves for a reasonable 4.99:

The turtle bin might be a custom job. I don't know what specific purpose it could have, besides being a bin.

Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
I picked up Incredible Crisis for 3 dollars; complete. It isn't in the greatest condition but it will do.
I also bought Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine (N64) for 6 dollars. It isn't complete and it has a Blockbuster sticker on the back but...it was only 6 dollars.
I also obtained a NES Advantage for $5. It was in really good condition too.
