I'm no lawyer, but this errs on the side of unconstitutional as far as I'm aware.

I am going to walk around in a t-shirt that says I am aloud to rape and murder because I have it written on my shirt.

EA was already on my boycott list for a few reasons, but now there is another reason added. Fuck EA. I will never give them any money.

There's no way in hell I'm switching from Steam to Origin. That was clear before this story broke, but I thought that I might consider using it for a few select titles because I do like some of EAs games. Now they have completely lost my business.

Don't forget about Sony, they were the ones that started this mess.

I get the feeling EA was at least thinking about doing this before Sony.

EA's got quite a long track record of pulling stupid stunts like this too.

It saddens me more because I'm almost certain that ME3 and DA3 will be Origin-only on the PC. It also makes me laugh because EA was trying to say how the reason they dropped Steam was because "it's not fair to the consumer" and "has unfair/unethical practices". AKA "they wouldn't let us sell dlc exclusively on our site and demanded that if we sold dlc it had to be available on steam too."

^are you fucking serious, they actually said that?

Leave it to EA to complain about the way other companies are supposedly treating their customers!

I doubt that if one tried to sue EA, that EA's EULA would stand up in court. It seems plainly illegal to me.
