Yeah, I linked to that in the main blog postott0bot wrote:Just to let everyone know this site has some great info about different ports of the series, with screenshots. Nice!

I have an affection for minimalist systems so I checked the Gameboy version. And that was fun. Of course you can't compare it to the big guys, it goes for SD graphics, but it is far more compelling than the Game Gear version and a pretty decent fighter for the old GB. I don't think all moves were preserved, I couldn't pull some Earthquake moves.
There's also the Neo Geo Pocket version that wasn't mentioned on the HG101 page. I'll try to check it out on an emu later.

I heard the Neo Geo Pocket one is pretty fun. I liked the GB one too, but the SNES and Genesis versions just felt frustrating. It's like the computer knows exactly when you do a strong slash and they do there's just a second later and it takes off like double damage. THe MVS arcade version really has good AI, intuitive not cheap.SaturnBR wrote:I have an affection for minimalist systems so I checked the Gameboy version. And that was fun. The SNES version is by far the worst I've played, I didn't find it enjoyable at all. The Game Gear version is also mediocre, but you can blame the hardware, yet for the SNES there's no excuse. I liked the Genesis version though, but I'm going to play it once again now that you've mentioned those AI quirks.ott0bot wrote:I heard the Neo Geo Pocket one is pretty fun.
