My favorite was the Apple printer printing out an American flag. A real patriot is too cheap to buy a real flag

Interesting to see the Sega Genesis being advertised beside the Sony PlayStation, both focusing on the EA Sports brand. College Football USA 97 for the Genny costs more than Madden 97 on the PS1, and Madden comes with a free mini football!

I picked up a stack of Byte magazines for free off of Craigslist. That's a real blast from the past. And yeah, the ads are half the fun. Zenith 8086 PCs for $3k. And that's a huge deal!

It would be hard to top paying $10K in 1983 dollars for the Apple Lisa:

My second computer was a Mac SE with 20MB hard drive that I bought for $2000 using the school discount program (I think they retailed for $3-4K back then).

They definitely still had them in 1996. If I remember correctly, a Discman was still a little expensive at that time. Anyways, I remember seeing Walkmans in a drug store just a few years ago.
