SNES VC controller
There are 3 of them on sale at my local store for 8,000Y each. If there are any takers, let me know and I can be your middleman.

After checking http://www.post.japanpost.jp/int/ems/index_en.html and making an estimate on the weight, the total would be approximately 10,500yen (if my estimate on weight was a good one). 10,500y = $99.62 = 50.56GBP give or take day by day.
I wouldn't be asking for anything on top just because I know how rare the controller is. If anyone is still interested PM me.

After playing with the SNES controller after using the classic one, it was a very much welcomed return and it does feel just that much better to me (especially the BAXY buttons). And besides, value is a personal perception on what is valuable to you, as a collector or a gamer.wyatt wrote:$77 vs. the Classic controller at $20? Fuck's sake I would like one too but that is ridiculous, clearly the cost isn't about playablility but collection.
However, if money was an issue to me, I'd get a GC/SNES retroUSB adapter and a used SNES controller (as a collector, I have actually ordered 2 of the adapters as well
Ouch! Did not expect them to be that much. They're going for about £40 on ebay. However, what kind of quality are they in? Are they brand new and sealed? The ones i've seen on ebay look like they're unsealed/open. I would be happy to pay extra for one that is perfect.

Well £40 is about $79 which is about 8,000Y so that's pretty much the same price then. And if the ebay'er is in Japan, the shipping would be the same I guess unless they actually weighed the thing (I estimated).devilmyarse wrote:Ouch! Did not expect them to be that much. All the controllers are not shrink wrapped because they come in a shipping box from Nintendo and they're 'not for resale' so I guess that's why they're like that.
Anyhoo, there's probably a lot of them online so maybe ebay etc would be better~
