Yeah, I do it for both as well. Except for comedies. Having subtitles on ruins the flow, prematurely reveals punchlines, and so on.

If a game lets you customize your character usually my first male character will have a green or aqua mohawk and my first female character will have a black bob cut.

MOst survival horror games (silent hill) i don't use the ammo of the most powerfull weapons until the final boss and ends up a little bit too easy. and never run out of ammo on any of these type of games.

LOL yes, I do this every time before I turn OFF the game. Usually I save twice, sometimes 3-4 times.

I don't save that often unless I'm at a point that it difficult or seems to be near a plot point but if a game allows it I will make lots of numbered saves instead of overwriting older ones. So I might finish a game with 100 or so of them.
