Merged!

Honestly I don't know what to think of this thing. Yet another console to collect I suppose :/

I think the initial marketing was bad. This is not just a console where you can play Angry Birds on your television - this is a console where indie developers can make games. That changed my mind.

I have an OnLive account for the luls and it works well considering my internet connection:

Thing is, most games work fine, but FPS games are extremely fustrating. The input lag is definitely noticeable. In racing games with a controller? Not so much.

I have a friend with the console, and it's fairly meh. It's about the same size as an Apple TV, and works basically like any other console, other than the fact it needs a constant internet connection. The controller is neat. It's like a Xbox Controller S, Xbox 360, and PS3 remote had a remote 3 way and the Controller S got pregnant. It's not my favorite (fingerprints everywhere) but it's fairly comfortable.

Mark of ClassicGameRoom did a review of it so you can always watch that on the YouTubes.

This will flop.
Even if you don't like apple, you have to admit they have a pretty good business strategy.

I got one, works well for what it is (got it free with Homefront). Wireless with it is a joke, only way to play games decently is to have it hardwired through the router.

One feature I particularly love if being able to drop in on someone else's game and watch them play. Nice for those that enjoy Let's Plays and stuff like that.
If you aren't having a good time, why are you playing?

well what seems very notable with the onlive is the input lag, and i dont think see how i can over look that issue especially since im huge on fighting games. Any lag in a fighting game can definitely turn the table for you, same can be said about fps.

Im not really interested in onlive, but just out of curiosity. I mean who wouldnt want to play modern games on a least powerful pc, this would save you ton of cash from updating your gaming pc.

Agreed, I still log in from time to time to watch gameplay of a game I'm interested in. It's totally worthwhile to make a free account just for that IMO.
