Re: Bay Area, CA Racketboy Member's Meet Up - September 24th
It would be nice if Ben brought his modded Genesis 2 to play on the old big Toshiba set via S-video. (and maybe s-video hook-ups for any systems Jesse doesn't have those for already)
I know most stuff will be hooked to the newer one with component (or SCART to component), but there's only so much you can do on one TV.

Yeah, I have pretty much every different type of console hooked to the main component CRT. For this Saturday, the SMS, Genesis, CD, 32X, and DC will be unused for that TV (unless someone really wants to, then I'll push all of those magical buttons), even though it's hooked/fixed to said TV. Instead, the SNES, NES, and N64 will be used there (yeah, too much hooked to one TV). I can hook the spare DC up to another TV if anyone wants to play DC. I have a Genesis hooked up to another TV so if anyone wants to play that they can. Why I'm doing this is because I have multiple Sega consoles and only one of each Nintendo console so it's easier to distribute the Sega consoles to other TVs. It'll help if anyone wants to bring a spare NES or some other console to hook to an available TV, with the premise that it will be played a lot, otherwise there's no need to.kool kitty89 wrote:It would be nice if Ben brought his modded Genesis 2 to play on the old big Toshiba set via S-video. Edit: I was looking at the first post. Really? It's been four months since we had a meetup? Damn, lol. Those months still went by quick though.

I pulled my saturn with action replay and svideo cable out of the storage unit yesterday. I'll bring Xmen vs Street Fighter and the other few games I mentioned.arnold_the_bartender wrote:Yeah, I have pretty much every different type of console hooked to the main component CRT. Oh yeah, I have the Saturn hooked as well but it's a good idea to bring yours. I have a Turbo Madness 4M cart which I believe can enable imports but I haven't tried it yet (I have no imports).

Alright, so I'm planning on bringing:
Jap 360 & shmups (should I bring component or s-vid?)
Saturn shmups
A 12 pack o Blue Moon
Trades
Are there any other consoles/cables/controllers that we'd need?

If it's not going to be used for Brad's CRT, I have another TV that has component but it's small and off to the side. The big Toshiba 32" Toshiba has S-Video ports. I would suggest bringing both if it isn't too much trouble otherwise just bring the S-Video cables since most of the TVs in the game room support it.dunpeal2064 wrote:Alright, so I'm planning on bringing:

Re: Bay Area, CA Racketboy Member's Meet Up - September 24th
So I'll be attending for sure
I'll bring Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo (US release) for Saturn
Super Bomberman 3 & 4, Secret of Mana 2 (English patched), and does someone have a multitap? should I bring an extra controller? I can bring 2 white saturn controllers.
for sale/trade I'll have Saturn Bomber Man 3, a modded psp 1001 (not the one I have listed for sale, one in much nicer condition), Super Mario Land w/ booklet, and Mario Kart for Gamecube. If anyone's interested in the touchscreen laptop combo I have for sale let me know (ppl usually use it to build touch screen juke boxes), I can take that it cut it down to 95 since I won't have to pay shipping.
I also have the following Saturn Imports, let me know if you guys want me to bring any of these
Capcom Generations 1
Fire Pro Wrestling 6 Men Scramble
King Of Fighters 95
Samurai Shodown 3
Samurai Shodown 4
Street Fighter Collection
Puyo Puyo 2
Puzzle Bobble 3
I also have
imported snk vs capcom 2 on dreamcast
