Whats your fashion sense ?

All Xbox 360s break after a few years. It's total bullshit.AppleQueso wrote:I am sorry for not keeping up with your boycott list.

Oh so it's just a reliability issue? I thought you'd boycotted microsoft now or something.
There's certain models iirc that are less prone to breakdown than others. I'm pretty sure the newer slim ones don't have the reliability issues the older ones have.
Not that I expect to change your mind or anything like that, just kinda bringing it up.

I'm passing on the 360 completely. I have no plans to buy one, ever. The games that interest me the most are Idolmaster and Blue Dragon but I don't wanna risk having my system die on me just for those games. The Xbox 360 feels so foreign to me. I hate how American it is. I also hate how so many games have DLC and how Xbox Live costs money and shows ads. It is fucking bullshit and I will not support it.AppleQueso wrote:Oh so it's just a reliability issue? I thought you'd boycotted microsoft now or something.

*edit* Microsoft isn't on my boycott list but I think they are a horrible company. Outside of the Windows OS, I don't give them any money. They have no passion at all when it comes to video games.

I gave up on the PS3 long ago so I haven't fully kept up with all of the news. I honestly haven't heard of any reliability issues with the PS3 slim. My PS3 is the original 60 GB launch model that can play PS2 games. It still works.AznKhmerBoi wrote:whats your views on the ps3 slim reliability issue then?

Gnu/linux distros are really easy to install and use these days if you want to ditch windows.Inazuma wrote: *edit* Microsoft isn't on my boycott list but I think they are a horrible company. Outside of the Windows OS, I don't give them any money.

Re: Whats your fashion sense ?
Hey Inazuma, I'd like your opinion on something (we can talk in private messages if you think this would turn into a big fiasco). I'm familiar with several forms of philosophy and psychology regarding the human (particularly male, in this case) psyche from a biological perspective, and have always been troubled by it. Scientifically, and in an under-handed social-sense, men are largely accepted to be fundamentally unconcerned with facets of relationships other than sex with partners they find attractive. I've almost just as often heard about those same traits manifesting themselves in women in different ways, but I'm not concerned with focusing on that element of the conversation...
I grew up in a very liberal family, the majority of my friends see chastity of most any type to be a waste of time -- what I'm getting at here is that while I've been exposed to societal norms, I'm far more often immersed in a collective culture which goes against that norm. So then, what would be your theory on why the very idea of perceiving my personal sexual desires as taking precedence over the personalities of others is nauseating to me? It makes me depressed, and do that little shake of repulsion when I hear about guys "smashing" girls they hardly know. I was wondering if I could get your opinion on why anyone in their right mind (or, perhaps, not in their right mind as I could imagine you might see it) would respond this way to a fundamental biological process (especially if they're self-aware enough to look past their meta-culture. I really don't think this is a case of societal norms being enforced on me and forming my opinion here).
The closest thing I've ever heard to something that sounded plausible from a purely scientific perspective was that I view objects as symbols, and am appalled at the language that certain syntax expresses. But I'd like to get your view on the matter.

It's more simple than you think. Throw away all of the bullshit that your family, teachers, religion and society have told you, and look at things for what they really are. Be honest, open minded and rational and everything will fall into place. You will see the truth on your own this way, which is much better than having someone force their beliefs onto you.Original_Name wrote:*long post*
I have no problem with dating someone just for sex. I don't try to hide the fact either. I will be upfront and honest about it from the start. There is nothing wrong with just wanting to have sex. It doesn't need to be about love and money and marriage and all that other bullshit.
The other day my Grandma asked me when I was going to get married. I said I will never get married because I am neither a fool nor a gold digger. I don't want to get fucked over or fuck someone else over. I just want to have sex and that's it. Why make it more complicated than it needs to be? It's just sex. Protect yourself from pregnancy and STDs, and have fun with it.
