Video Game "Look what I found"
Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
some alright finds today.
Traded some junk xbox / ps2 titles for a few decent games:
Drakengard, Mario Golf (n64), Mario Tennis (n64)
Then sold a handful of junk disc only xbox games to a swap meet vendor for about $1 each, got them for free so yay profit. The local game store didn't want any of them and selling one or two individually wasn't really worth the trouble.
Picked up Dragon Warrior Monsters (GBC) for $2
Starship Hector - $2

I got a Sega Dreamcast (no cords) and a Sega Official Import Arcade Stick (the one with the green buttons). The dreamcast worked fine.
and both for $5
I guess the resellers miss something every now and then.
She had a bunch of coleco vision games in a big box with manuals. Not my thing so I passed.

Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
Since getting my Famicom, I've been playing a whole lot of 8 bit gaming. Stopped by the local retro game shop and picked up a couple underrated games for $10 ... not the best deal, but not too bad on my wallet. Then made a quick stop at the thrift store and picked up Pokemon Snap for $3.

My package come in from Stark and couldn't have arrived in better packing
Traded a couple of my Saturn games for these, woohoo. He even threw in an extra DVD because he felt he shipped out a little late, awesome huh?

Wow - nice. Do you have a backup dreamcast case (with the clear spine)? That's a great price for the original disc + manual.Hobie-wan wrote:Woo, just won Cannon Spike disc and book for a great price. Shouldn't be a big deal to get a scan of the back and print it out. Totally worth saving $25+.![]()

Easy enough to get a clear case.retrosportsgamer wrote:Wow - nice. Do you have a backup dreamcast case (with the clear spine)? That's a great price for the original disc + manual.

Just had a bad impulse buy on eBay
Not the best prices, but then again, not the worst. I picked up a Famicom turbo controller that I've been wanting to get for a while. Not the exact one I wanted, but whatever.

The same seller was selling this other weird Famicom device I have never seen before. He offered combined shipping, so I figured why not?

I only decided to Google it after I bid and won, didn't realize it was only for select games. But oh well. Win some, lose some. I'll probably put it up for sale on the forums here at some point. Here's the Wiki page for it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turbo_File_%28ASCII%29 . Apparently it's just like the Turbo File 1, only it has 4 banks to save to instead of just one. I've never heard of any of those games though, but now that I've got this weird thing, maybe I'll check them out.
