The awesome aura of Keith caused my thumb to go briefly limp - resulting in a longhorn pledge, rather than "rock on". For shame.Redifer wrote:Woo hoo! Texas Longhorns!

That's not the reply I was hoping for. I was hoping you'd say "No that's not a Longhorns gesture, those are devil horns" (usually shown at rock concerts and whatnot). Then I would have replied "Woo hoo! The Devil!" and everyone would have laughed and laughed and suddenly everyone would have wanted to be my best friend. Now my hopes are dashed. I shall now go back into the shadows and wait for another opportunity to unleash my "humor".

Re: See Keith Apicary live on his tour
The Game Underground show was awesome! Keith complimented us for not dropping him once during his 4+ stage dives.
I got a chance to talk to him for a minute or two before the show and gave him a little gift. Here's me being more awkward around him than I intended to be:

And here's my upgraded Sega Nomad, now a Keith Apicary limited edition:

One of the wonderful things about Keith is that he stops to talk to everybody who approaches him -- and he really focuses on you the entire time you chat. You can tell how much he cares about his fans because he gives you his full attention until your conversation is over. Actually, it can be a little nerve-wracking when you begin to wonder what he could possibly be getting out of it when you're just a regular anonymous person tripping over her words and he's The Classic Gaming Wiz, for crying out loud.
He's also quite liberal with his hugs, which is great too.
Thanks Keith! Please do this again!

Heh indeed. Nathan was pretty cool at the show I went to, even with the superfan guy that was really annoying the entire time. Nobody was rushed during the signing and chat after the show. Definitely a good guy that deserves his success.

Everyone I know who has worked or met Nathan says the same thing: "I really like that guy". We'll be seeing more of him for sure, and from what I've heard, we'll be seeing more of him on television as well.Hobie-wan wrote: Definitely a good guy that deserves his success.

He'd make a great SNL cast member (far better than what they currently have). Too bad SNL is biased towards people from Chicago's Groundlings or whatever it is.
