Reasonable price of a 20GB PS3

Post by peace4myheart »

Someone is offering to sell me used 20GB PS3 for 300 dollars. Is that reasonable and fair price??? If not, then what is a good price??? I need one to play MGS4.

I hope you're buying it for more than MGS4. No game is worth $300, despite what Hilary Goldstein has to say.

Of course not, but that is my main purpose for buying it at the moment. Otherwise, I would have waited for another year. When I have more money, COD4, GTA4, Half Life 2 will be mine. BTW, who is this Hilary Goldstein you speak of???

Dunno but usually I find in kinda like a craiglist for Puerto Rico PS3 the 80gb model with two controllers and like 2 games for $300. I think the best price for that one is 200 or 150.

Just a douche working at IGN who likes to say outrageous things to rise through the ranks.

Man, that's really cheap over there in Puerto Rico. Wish I live there. Anyway, that 300 dollars is an offer on Craiglist with the original box and all the original stuffs and a used copy of Motorstorm. The thing is I don't like Motorstorm. If I buy it, then I'd probably sell it. I am also worried about getting a damaged or broken system that I know nothing of its past. Since it's being paid in cash, nothing can be done once the money is exchanged. The guy did offer to let me come and test it out before I buy it though. I just don't know. 300 dollars is a lot of money.

I am going to quote you on that. :D

I find it very amazing that you say this. For one, he asked is that a reasonable price not your personal opinion.

By the way, that is a good price for that model of PS3.

Number 2, back in the day when the PS1 and FF7 game out, with the game and the tax game to $300.00 easily. For it's time it was worth that money to a lot of gamers out there.

Number 3, I had to comment on a statement that you stated to be an absolute with out explaining.
:D

What about the people who spend 1000 dollars on pcbs for one game?

To some people it's worth it I guess.

I guess I just need to tell you guys that I am not rich. I don't have money to burn like those people who spend 1000's of dollars on video games or PCB. I just want a fair market price or a bit cheaper would be nice for when I buy something that expensive.

Well don't forget the $200 they lay down for the large rock of crack they smoke before making such a retarded decision.
