RE0 on Wii makes no sense at all. The only reason for Capcom to be doing this is because RE0 didn't sell as well as they hoped, and they might think that disguising a re-printing as a remake will pull in the difference in sales.

And you know, it probably will. They just re-re-re-released RE4:Wii in Japan under the "Besto Puraisu" label for the budget-minded gamer.

Could be too large for VC. It was the largest game on the system at 512Mb. That's roughly 64MB which may be a little too large for the VC… However I'm not sure how much wiiware will be using so I may be talking out of my arse.

Are VC games compressed at all? What about Turbo CD?

I would assume so. Considering most WAV versions of TG16CD games in BIN/CUE are around 100MB at least, Nintendo is probably using a good encoder for the emulator, possibly FLAC or high quality AAC, MP3, or OGG. The actual Data in those games is usually damn small, but it's those CD tracks that take up so much space.

I'd have to assume they are compressed in some way.
I have Drac X, Y's I & II, and Gate of Thunder and they range from 34MB to 29MB each. I don't know what kind of compression they're using but they all sound great on my home stereo. :D
(I just wish they would add Lords of Thunder soon... On the JP VC)
