Strangest thing you've seen while on the freeway?

A massive freight truck with two trailers completely engulfed in fire.

seen this several times, cops turning on their siren to pass through traffic and finding out that is was uncalled for.

I've seen an ambulance with sirens blaring drive PAST a hospital. Now let's think about this. I clearly saw it coming far down the road past the hospital -- so it couldn't have been coming out of it, and through my rearview mirror I definitely did not see it turn into the hospital on my right.

That means either A.) this ambulance was coming from another FARTHER hospital to reach a possibly dying individual or B.) The ambulance already picked up said dying person and drove PAST A HOSPITAL. There's something just not right with that picture.

Unless, maybe they were going through stop-lights/traffic too??

I've seen a hairy old man with a gray beard, wearing nothing but fishnet stockings and a tutu, ride his bicycle slowly down the interstate highway while smoking a huge cigar. This is not the strangest thing I have seen while traveling in a car, just the strangest I've seen on the freeway.

I suppose that could be true. At the time though it just seemed a bit comical.

So ambulances aren't necessarily based at a hospital. Many ambulance companies are third parties that are contracted by the hospital, so the ambulance you saw could have been coming from its home base.

My wife tells me that when she was a kid in California, her and her family were driving down the 101, when they looked up and saw a homeless man standing on the overpass.

As they were passing, this guy whipped out his junk and took a piss off the bridge, and it got all over their car.

Brings a whole new meaning to "making it rain" huh?
