the only way to get good at shmups is to practice practice practice!
If you are only credit spamming you will not progress as much in your skills then if you started over after your credit is up. Set small goals and you will soon be 1cc'ng some shooties. I recommend starting with something a little easier like Blazing Lazers than a bullet hell though.
